At Skipperi, we aim to provide clear and transparent policies regarding refunds and cancellations to ensure our members are fully informed. Here’s what you need to know about refunds and cancellations.


Membership Fees

  • Initial Fees: The joining fee and the first month’s subscription fee are non-refundable.
  • Monthly Subscription Fees: Skipperi does not offer refunds for monthly subscription fees once they have been charged, including for unused boating time.

Cancellations During the Contract Term

  • If you are within the 12-month contract period, cancellations are generally not permitted.
  • In cases of special circumstances (e.g., significant life events or relocations), please contact customer support to discuss your options. Refunds for unused time during the contract period are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellations After the Contract Term

  • Once your 12-month commitment is complete, you may cancel your membership with a 90-day written notice. No additional fees will be charged beyond your final billing cycle, but fees already paid are non-refundable.

Reservation Cancellations

  • Members can cancel reservations through the Skipperi app at any time before their trip begins. However:
    • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the reservation may result in a late cancellation fee.
    • No-shows or failure to cancel a reservation can lead to additional penalties (e.g., fees for a second offense).

Refunds for Fuel Costs

  • Skipperi automatically charges your credit or debit card on file for fuel consumption after each trip.
  • Refunds for fuel charges are only issued in the rare event of a billing error. If you believe an error occurred, please contact customer support with details of the trip and fuel usage.

Training Fees

  • Practical training is included in your membership, and no separate fees are charged for mandatory training sessions. However, rescheduling missed training sessions may incur a fee.

How to Request a Refund or Clarification

If you believe you’re entitled to a refund or have questions about your charges:

  1. Contact Skipperi customer support via the app or email.
  2. Provide details about your request, including the nature of the issue and relevant trip or billing information.
