Congratulations on completing your practical training! You’re now ready to start enjoying Skipperi boats. Here’s how to access boats and use the reservation system.
Step 1: Ensure Your Membership Is Active
After completing your practical training, your membership will be fully activated. You’ll receive a confirmation email or notification in the Skipperi app.
Step 2: Log in to the Skipperi App
Use the Skipperi mobile app to manage your bookings and access boats:
- Open the app and log in with your account credentials.
- Navigate to the Reservation System - tap on ‘Reserve’ at the bottom of the screen and then ‘Motorboat’.
Step 3: Book a Boat
- Choose a Location: Select your preferred boating location (e.g., Hilton Head, SC).
- Select a Time Slot: Pick a reservation type: (Winter hours)
- Morning Shift: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
- Full-Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Confirm Your Reservation: Once you confirm, the boat will be reserved in your name.
Step 4: Check In Before Your Reservation
On the day of your reservation:
- Arrive at the dock 10–15 minutes before your booking starts.
- Use the app to check in and complete the pre-boarding checklist.
- Inspect the boat for any damages or lost items and report them in the app, if necessary.
Step 5: Enjoy Your Time on the Water!
During your reservation:
- Follow all local boating rules and Skipperi guidelines.
- Respect your reservation time to ensure the next member can access the boat on schedule.
Step 6: Check Out After Your Reservation
When you’re finished:
- Return the boat to the designated dock.
- Use the app to check out and log any issues, damages, or lost items.

- Cancellation Policy: Review the cancellation terms in case your plans change.
