How to join: Step-by-step guide for new members

Joining Skipperi Hilton Head is simple! Follow these steps to become a member and start enjoying the water:

Step 1: Visit the Skipperi Hilton Head Page

Go to Skipperi Hilton Head to learn about the membership options, pricing, and what’s included.

Step 2: Choose Your Membership

Select the membership plan that fits your lifestyle:

• Weekday Subscription: Access to boats Monday through Friday.
• Weekday + Weekend Subscription: Access to boats every day of the week.
  
  

Step 3: Sign Up and Pay

Click the “Join Now” button and complete the registration form. You’ll be guided through the payment process to secure your membership.

Step 4: Complete the Onboarding Process

Before you can start booking boats, you’ll need to complete these steps:

1. Identity Verification: Submit a valid form of identification.
2. Sign the Liability Waiver: Read and agree to the terms.
3. Pass the Skipperi Exam: A brief online test to ensure you understand basic boating rules.
4. Boating License or Certification: Provide proof of a valid boating license or the South Carolina Safety Course Certificate.
   
   

Step 5: Book Practical Training

Once the onboarding steps are complete, book your practical training session through the Skipperi app. This hands-on training is required for all new members and ensures you’re comfortable operating our boats and is done in-person at the Boathouse.

Step 6: Start Boating!

After completing practical training, you’ll gain access to the Skipperi app, where you can book boats and enjoy your membership to the fullest.
